How long does it take to get an appointment or an operation?
We know that too long delays disappoint patients; so we do our best to schedule an appointment within one month of the call.
How long will I stay at the firm?
We strive to keep all appointments; most of the time, the exam lasts 20 to 30 minutes, but some special exams can be longer (max. 2h).
Can I be accompanied?
Obviously !
Who will operate on me?
In all cases, Dr. Mathys operates cataracts, PRK and Lasik himself. Dr. Sevilla performs some laser retina treatments.
Should I take leave?
Occasionally; depending on the case, we can give a medical certificate for a few days off.
When should I consult an ophthalmologist?
For any blurred vision, red eye, foreign body sensation, accident…
But also on a regular basis, to check the sight, the tension of the eye, the retina…
And in general, once a year after 40 years, or when wearing glasses or contact lenses. An annual examination is also recommended after surgery.
In an emergency, can I come right away? What happens during the WE?
We always receive emergencies during our normal business hours; in addition, it is always possible to leave a message or contact a doctor during the weekend, so that he can help you or examine you if necessary.
